This Friday (Oct 29) evening we will be dancing up a storm for our (first annual?) IVCF costume dance party! We will be gathering together with our sister-group - IVCF Korean Christian Fellowship at Mac. It will be a good time of costumes, community, and congregating together on the dance floor! There will be gift certificate prizes for most creative costume, most in character all evening, and possibly a third prize. If you would like, please feel free to bring an (optional) snack to share. Next week...

Mac Korean Christian Fellowship is hosting an art project/campus outreach event and have invited us to take part! They will be going around campus next Thursday (Nov 4)  with the question "What gives you hope, joy, etc?, Do you find this on campus?" and taking photos of people with their answers written on signs. These photos will be on display in Clubspace the second Thursday of November (Nov 11) at 5:30pm with the hope of engaging students into conversation about hope, love, etc. They have invited our group to take part by participating in the discussion/hang out in Clubspace on Nov 11 and being present to engage others in conversation. If you are interested in going around and asking (or answering!) questions, please contact Melody (melody.chook[at]gmail[dot]com) for location details - next Thursday at 5:30pm (I think). This is an excellent opportunity to get to know some of our friends in the Mac KCF group as well as students and faculty on campus and talk about what hope is and where it comes from.

THIS WEEK some of us are going apple and pumpkin picking on Saturday at Frootogo Farm! With a name like that, how can you say no? We will be apple/pumpking picking durign the afternoon and getting together afterwards to make and eat delicious things with our spoils!
