Greetings everyone!
I hope everybody's summers are off to a fantastic start despite all the rain we've been having. I just wanted to send out a quick email to remind and inform you of some things that are going on.
1. For those of you in Hamilton, there is a Bible study running:
Thursday 7:30pm, contact: Kammie Chow (kammiechow@gmail.com) or David Perecko (djperecko@gmail.com) for location!
2. For those wishing to learn this summer, DivCollege asked that we pass on the attached email.
3. We've received an email about a young woman entering first year next year who is looking for a house where she can live with other christians. If you have room in your house for next year, shoot me an email, and I can put you in touch.
Okay, That's it for now! Remember to keep smiling!

Alan,
Hi! We wanted to make you aware of a one-day conference taking place at McMaster Divinity College on June 11 on our campus in Hamilton. Is there way in which you could also assist us in making others aware of this exciting day?
This conference will be of interest to anyone who works within (or prepares others for work in) a cross-cultural context and/or are interested in Christianity and culture or those who wish to be better informed of what is happening with Christianity globally.
McMaster Divinity College will be hosting Philip Jenkins as keynote speaker at its Globalization of Christian Faith and Ministry conference. Philip is one of the leading thinkers on the changing nature of global Christianity in the twentieth century and the early twenty-first century. Along with Dr. Jenkins we have twelve additional session speakers addressing issues on Christian ministry in the dynamic context of global Christianity.
Philip Jenkins was educated at Cambridge University, where he obtained his doctorate in History. Since 1980, he has taught at Penn State University, where he holds the rank of Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of the Humanities. He is also a Distinguished Senior Fellow at Baylor University's Institute for Studies of Religion. He has published 24 books, including The New Faces of Christianity: Believing the Bible in the Global South (2006), and The Lost History of Christianity (2008). His latest book is Jesus Wars: How Four Patriarchs, Three Queens, And Two Emperors Decided What Christians Would Believe For The Next 1,500 Years.
For more information visit http://www.macdiv.ca/theology_conference/home or call 905.525.9140 x24402.
McMaster Divinity College exists to develop effective evangelical Christian leaders for the church, academy, and society through university-level education, professional training and ongoing support.
Warm regards,
Kevin.
