October 4th. Which is next Saturday.
What: One day retreat. 8:30AM - 10PM.

When: Oct 4th. We will be meeting at the Divinity college parking lot across
from MDCL at 8:30 am and we will be coming back same day in the evening around
9-ish.
Cost: $40. Lunch and dinner will be provided.

What to bring:
- Bible
- Pens, pencils, paper, notebook
- warm cloths
- change of cloths if you want to participate in sports
- running shoes
- camera
- any games (board, sports etc)
- anything else that you might feel you need for a one day retreat.

We will be meeting on campus right outside of Mills library at 6:45 pm.

Location: Dan & Dave's Apartment, 11 Paradise Road South Apartment 11 (Westdale behind the Barn)
Time: 7-9 pm
Study Topic: Experiences with Jesus in Luke
We will be meeting on campus right outside of Mills library at 6:30 pm.
Wednesday
Location: Mary Keyes Residence, meet in the lobby at 6:45 pm

Location: Alan's House, 27 Hollywood Street South (10 minute walk from campus)

Large Group Tonight!
Our first large group of the year is tonight, Sept 9th. We will be meeting for a time of fellowship, worship, and prayer. You'll also be able to hear more about the vision for VCF this year, and be able to meet the leaders of our small groups (as well as get some more info about our small groups!).
We will be meeting at 6:30 in the basement rec room of Divinity College;
If you're not sure where that is, there will also be some helpful people at the BSB flagpoles at 6:15 pm, waving the MacVCF sign. Bring friends!
MacVCF kicks off a new year!
We would like to wish a warm welcome to first year students, to students who are checking out MacVCF for the first time, and to our returning students. Here is a breakdown of the schedule for the month:
Progressive Dinner
To all of you, we would like to extend an invitation to join us for our annual Progressive Dinner, which is happening this Friday, Sept. 5th (yes, tomorrow). We'll be meeting at 5 pm at the BSB flagpoles (look for the green MacVCF sign), and from there we will be heading to the following locations in succession:
Appetizers: 15 Hollywood N
Main Course 1: 27 Hollywood S
Main Course 2: 43 Longwood N
Dessert: 18 Dalewood Ave
Of course this is all FREE FOOD, and your friends are more than welcome :D.
Large Group

First Year Welcome Party
Because we think you're so great, we're throwing a party for you on Thursday, Sept 11. We'll be outside enjoying the last of the summer weather--sports and snacks will be involved. Meet on the big green grassy area outside JHE (that's the Engineering building) at 6 pm.
Upper years, if you feel called to ministering/investing in first years, please contact one of the staff or student leaders, we'd love to talk to you--this may involve opening your home as a study/hang out place, or acting as a mentor/tutor/gym buddy...
